The History of Heatwave Brand Pepper Spray Recipe
Introduced in 1996, Heatwave 15% OC (Oleoresin Capsaicin) was accessible to Law Enforcement, First Responders & Security Personnel.
In 1999 HEATWAVE BRAND Pepper Spray introduced a 10% oc Recipe. I can tell you from personally experiencing the 10% Fogger was intense enough.
"I got caught in a situation having to use the 10% Fogger against an attacker. Wind was not blowing hard, but a bit of the Fog blew back in my face. I was breathing deeper than normal due to the adrenaline of the moment. The Attacker was hit fully, so he did not want anything else to do with me.
After only a few moments after the incident, my Lungs, Eyes, Nasal passages & Skin felt like fire from the inside out."- Charles Nix (HEATWAVE Sales)
